I fondly remember my years growing up in Karlstad and thought this group would be an excellent place for those of us who did grow up and live in the area to share some of those memories. Many of my memories are associated with the Karlstad Advocate and the North Star News, but there are also summers running loose in a small town, sandlot baseball games, swimming in a stock pond, and exploring the woods out behind our home. Whatever memories you feel like sharing are welcome, and a collection of these from different individuals should make some rich reading.
