Why do you think they came?
I have been working on my family tree and have run across many of my family having come to the US from England to Canada's Prince Edward Island and then to St Vincent where my grandfather was born. Why did they come to St Vincent? I imagine it was a big draw because of lumbering, but I know nothing of the area.
I have Clows in my family tree that came from PEI to St Vincent.
My great grand aunt, Harriet Edkins married Hammond Willis Clow.
Why did they come and why did my family leave in 1919? Floods? Lack of jobs?
