Hi Roger and Welcome to Kittson Historian.  Do you have any more info on the Christopherson's?  I found an Ole C. in Marshall county--but that one was only 5 years old in the 1895 Minnesota State census.  Do you have access to Ancestry. com? There are dozens of Ole Christopherson's across the country.  Glad to help if I can.  Louise Coffield

Thanks Louise,   I've been searching for this family for over a decade.  Strangely, I was not able to find them in (which I have access to).   I did find them ultimately in the LDS' Family Search Site.  They are listed in the 1895 Minnesota State Census for Sinnott Township, Marshall County, MN.   See link below.

Also attached is a Family Group Sheet showing what I know about this family.   Ole%20Christopherson%20FGS.pdf

Ole and wife Betsy were both born in Norway.  They settled in Iola Township, Waupaca County, WI  (I have them in the Census Records there).   Sometime around 1881-1882 they moved with their children to the Grafton area in North Dakota.  They remained there for about 10 years.   Then in about 1892 they moved to Sinnott Township, Marshall County, MN (see 1895 Minnesota Census).  Ole Christopherson died there on 12 June 1895.   But I don't know where buried.   And I have not been able to find wife Betsy's death or burial.   I am related to Betsy.

A transcript for Ole's Death is referenced "Book A, Page 40, Line 30".    But that is a Marshall County document, not a Kittson.    I just thought that with Sinnott so close to the county line, that maybe there were buried in a Norwegian Lutheran Church cemetery in Kittson County.

Thank you very much!  Roger Anderson
