Saskatchewan Probate Records

The Saskatchewan Genealogical Society and the LDS in joint project indexed the Saskatchewan Probate records through a process called waypointing.  I have done some of the "waypointing" and have been working mainly as an arbitrator for the last few weeks.  A lot of these files contain information on people who originated or left  heirs in the United States.  A large portion of this collection has already been published on familysearch.org  It can be found on their website under  Collections,…See More

Hi Sharon, I am glad to see you found your way here. The County Historical Society has a great research library of censuses, journals, birth and death records as well as county, township, and town history books. Give me the full names of your great grandparents and let us see what we can find. Its free and we are happy to do it for you. Glenn

Hi Sharon, we have conducted a few searches, looking for the Hill and Forbes families and we have found both men and their famiies in the 1880 USA Federal Census. We also found that someone has created a family tree on Ancestory.com that include these names.
Are you aware of this information or is it news to you. We wish to provide you with information but not if you are already aware of it. Do you have Family Tree Maker software and or a connection to Ancestory.com? Glenn

Hi Sharon, Your pictures are wonderful! Thank you for sharing! I am working with the city of Drayton on cemetery indexes for the Drayton and Bowesmont Cemeteries. I noticed that several members of the Hills family are buried in the Bowesmont Cemetery including John and Eliza Hills. Are you aware of that? I like to include family information in the indexes - spouses, parents and children. Could you contact me at: marcyj@invisimax.com
