Comment by Thomas F Wickie on June 16, 2010 at 7:34am: Our grandmother, Mary Bella Wickie, was a member of St John's Episcopal Church. I am certain she would have known Elice Curtis, as well as other members of your family. I am noting the folks involved in paying tribute as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers and find our neighbor Oscar Pearson and former mail carrier Clyde Bailey among them. Others are also familiar, but I was only 15 when we left for Colorado in 1957 so I cannot bring up specific memories. Good to have you as a fellow member of this site.
