"Hey Steve. I sent you a friend request but failed to provide my e-mail address which is email@example.com. I'm trying to migrate from Ning to our Facebook page and wanted to get in touch with you. I'd like to post…"
Thank you for your willingness to take this web site on as well as your other social media sites. I am not a facebook user, but I will respect your decision. $25/month seems like an unreasonable amount of money to pay for…"
Thanks for joining Steve and for submitting the photos. If each person who joins would do the same thing we will end up with an excellent site. Next time I am in Northcote I will be sure and check and see just what buildings are still standing.
Thanks for more photos Steve. If you have any ideas for suggestions for the web page or even for new local photos, do not hesitate to let me know. When was talking to Cindy Adams, the Director of the Museum the other day she suggested it would be great if you were able to identify some of the buildings in your Northcote photo. We have 30 members now so thats about ten a month. At his rate we should have about a 100 members by the end of the year. As people jump on board I am hoping we will end up with lots of old photos that have not seen the light of day for many, many, decades.
I was raised in Lake Bronson, son of Victor and Lucille Johnson. I have seriously been involved in Ancestry since 1990. I am using FTM 2011 now and have just begun my final booklet on my family and my wifes. I am back to around 1800's in the Johnson/Eggerud families. I am back to 1618 on my wifes side, the Curtis/Walcott families. The Walcott's through marriage go back to Charlemagne 700's. I love ancestry and spend just about all spare time doing it. I have been doing a piece for my family on Lake Bronson, Lake, and Dam. Loved it!!! I welcome any info on my dad [Vic], Lake Bronson and Dam. Thanks for the quick response Steve. :) :)
