Hi Chris, Can you give me a few more details. When & where was he born. Do you know when he died and where. We have a data base of over 77,000 names so any additional details will help.
Thanks so much for getting back to me. I'm afraid I do not know any of the answers to your questions. Please let me explain the reason for my search:
My 5 x's great Uncle Thomas Leonczak was thrown off a moving train back in 1917 by its own trains men on the SOO Line railway. Naturally you brought on a lawsuit and it went all the way to the MN Supreme Court in 1924.
I just have read the entire transcription of the hearing. In this information, his attorney presented several pieces of physical evidence to the Jury. Pictures to be exact. I have been searching for my Great Uncles Farm for over a year now, and these pictures I have learned, were of his farm and farm location. If I can find the evidence, I may finally be able to find the farm.
His attorney was John Cedergren.
I have researched Mr. Johns name and found a picture of him and his family on this here site. I tried contacting the member who posted the picture and he had little to no information for me, just had the old picture. I know his is from Duluth and practiced out of Duluth with another Attorney together their firm was Nelson & Cedergren.
Often times, a career such as a lawyer stays in the family. I was hoping if I could find relatives of Mr. John I could ask if the firm is still in the family and if they have old evidence.
Your help would be truely a blessing.
Thank you,
Chris Leonzal
