"I just got off the phone with a person named Deb that works at the Kittson County Museum. She said that she was able, when Trinity Lutheran bought St. John's Episcopal Church in Hallock, MN, to get most (but not all) of the St. Vincent…"

Hi Marcy, I have the photo (of a photo--if I remember right) that I posted. I have had this photo for a few years now and do not remember which branch of my family I got it from! Thats what happens when a person works on several branches at once. I think it came from my Madsen side, but when I took the pohoto, they did not know who it was either--so I was supposed to be the dedective! Thanks for the comments. Louise
Hi Marcy, Thanks for responses. Yes, Cannon Hall is still standing and newly painted, new windows, etc. This photo was a few years ago with my niece, Lori Lambert and a friend. About 3 years ago "they" renovated the building so it really looks nice now. My family farm is right across the road (Co. Rd 17) from the town hall. This was the West Cannon School at one time and is where my Dad and my aunts and Uncles went to school. At one time there was also the East Cannon School, which later became the George Coffield residence. That building burned many years ago.
My apologies. Did I ever get back to you about this? It has been a hectic summer. What info do you need and on who? Eliza moved to Bowesmont after 1896. Most of her children moved to Canada except for one son who remained at Bowesmont. I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org
